Chief Executive Officer
Kris Ausborn is the Chief Executive Officer of Iowa Trust, a role he has held since 2004. Since joining the bank in 1985, Mr. Ausborn has continuously served in leadership roles, including time spent as the bank's Assistant Vice President, Vice President, Senior Vice President and Chief Lending Officer, and President.
As the CEO for Iowa Trust, Mr. Ausborn plans, directs, develops and leads all aspects of the bank's strategies, initiatives and operations. Additional responsibilities include creating short-term and long-term goals, administrating the bank's strategic plan, and promoting the vision, mission and values of Iowa Trust to benefit our employees, customers, communities and shareholders.
Mr. Ausborn is a graduate of the University of Iowa with a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance degree. He completed additional training at the Iowa Bankers Association Agricultural Credit School and attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison Graduate School of Banking.
An avid Hawkeye fan, Mr. Ausborn enjoys cheering on his alma mater, as well as water skiing, boating and traveling to visit family. He also serves as an Iowa delegate for the Independent Community Bankers of America, is a member of the ICBA Consumer Financial Services Committee, and director and past president of the Community Bankers of Iowa (CBI).

Rick Brennan

Emmetsburg President — Chief Operating Officer
Rick Brennan is the President of the Emmetsburg market and Chief Operations Officer for Iowa Trust. Since joining Iowa Trust in 2002, he has also served as an Ag, Commercial, and Consumer Loan Officer for the bank.
In his roles, Mr. Brennan manages the daily operation of the Emmetsburg location and oversees all agricultural lending and relationship services for the bank. He also works closely with the information technology and bank operations staff to serve the various needs of customers in all three locations. Among the things Mr. Brennan enjoys most about his work is providing leadership to the Emmetsburg staff to help them deliver outstanding local customer service that meets and exceeds expectations.
Mr. Brennan graduated with a bachelor's degree in corporate communications/public relations from Buena Vista University and has since attended and graduated from a number of professional courses, including the University of Wisconsin-Madison Graduate School of Banking, Iowa School of Banking and Bank Technology Management School.
Passionate about the Emmetsburg community, Mr. Brennan and his wife, Diane, have raised their four children there and have been active in their children's athletic and musical events while cheering on the E-Hawks. The Brennen family also likes to walk, kayak and play golf.

Julie Dent-Zajicek

Panora President — Chief Retail Officer
With more than 42 years of experience in the banking industry, Julie Dent-Zajicek's career has encompassed many roles, including customer service, business development, lending, compliance and management. She joined Iowa Trust in 2018 when it purchased Panora State Bank, where she served as President of the bank.
Following the merger, she retained the role of Bank President for Panora and added the duties of Chief Retail Officer to her responsibilities.
As President and Chief Retail Officer of the Panora market, Ms. Dent-Zajicek enjoys working alongside other community leaders to improve the quality of life for area residents. She readily seeks opportunities to shape the manner in which Iowa Trust delivers customer service and retail products to customers while supporting retail team members in professional development and growth.
Outside of the bank, Ms. Dent-Zajicek serves on several boards in the Panora community, including Little Panther Daycare & Preschool, Guthrie County Community Foundation and Panora Area Development Group. She is also the President of Tori's Angels Foundation, a nonprofit assisting children with life-threatening medical conditions.
She enjoys biking and anything done outdoors, ideally while spending time with family and friends.

Ann Frascht

Ann Frascht began her career with Iowa Trust in 1999 when she was hired as a drive-up teller and bookkeeper. In her nearly 25 years with the bank, she has served in a variety of roles, including Administrative Assistant, Executive Secretary, Assistant Trust Officer, Vice President of Human Resources, Senior Vice President of Administration, Executive Vice President of Administration, and now, Executive Vice President and Chief Administration Officer. Her all-encompassing roles at different levels of the bank have lent themselves to job responsibilities in human resources and payroll, investments, shareholder administration and board relationships.
Ms. Frascht received her Child Development Associate degree from Iowa Lakes Community College as an assistant teacher at Headstart. Her banking expertise was built through professional development and training she has received through Iowa Trust, including bookkeeping, loan administration, accounts payable, human resources and various administrative courses.
She stays busy spending time with her children, granddaughters and grand dogs. Ms. Frascht also enjoys reading, baking, sewing, walking, exercising, gardening and traveling.

Colleen Heldt

As the Chief Financial Officer and Cashier with Iowa Trust, Colleen Heldt is the bank's lead for analysis and management of the bank's past and present financial position, along with budget analysis for future strategic planning. She also manages the day-to-day financial decisions of Iowa Trust. With more than 24 years of experience at Iowa Trust, Ms. Heldt is well-versed in the banking business, including time spent as a compliance officer.
Ms. Heldt holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of South Dakota and went on to complete training at the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado.
Aside from her career, Ms. Heldt enjoys spending time with friends and family.

Scott Menke

Scott Menke joined the Clive area Iowa Trust team in 2016 as a Commercial Lending Officer and has since assumed the role as the Executive Vice President — Chief Credit Officer.
In his role as Chief Credit Officer, Mr. Menke's primary responsibility is to create the credit environment for the bank, which includes things like risk management for the bank with the monitoring and structuring of loans as per loan policy, developing systems to monitor loan policies and procedures, leading the bank in concentration limit tracking and commercial/ag credit analysis. Through all of this, Mr. Menke leads the bank's credit administration and loan administration departments, where he mentors and trains credit and loan administration department personnel, as well as works to grow the commercial loan and deposit relationships with clients.
Mr. Menke has a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Iowa, where he majored in finance. He then went on to earn his MBA from St. Ambrose University. Mr. Menke has also graduated from two banking-specific programs, including the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado and National Commercial Lending School.
When he's not at work, Mr. Menke stays busy with a wide range of hobbies, including playing card games with family, reading, watching movies, attending family sports and school events, cheering on the Hawkeyes, Minnesota Twins and Minnesota Vikings, traveling, and attending plays at the Des Moines Playhouse and Des Moines Civic Center.

Paul Pick

Paul Pick joined the Iowa Trust banking staff in 2021 as the Executive Vice President of Commercial Lending, where he is responsible for the generation of commercial loan and deposit business along with supervision of commercial loan officers. Additionally, he serves on the bank's executive management team, ALCO and loan committee. As part of his leadership role with Iowa Trust, Mr. Pick is responsible for developing and implementing programs for the bank to grow all businesses lines.
Mr. Pick earned his bachelor's degree in finance and economics from Morningside College. He also attended and graduated from the Alieron Conscious Leadership program. He is currently participating in the Executive Development Institute for Community Bankers at the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado.
Mr. Pick is very active in his community, currently serving as the board president of The Ronald McDonald House of Central Iowa and as a member of both The Business Development Breakfast Club and the Des Moines Network Breakfast Club. He has also participated in the Urbandale Leadership program and served on the Urbandale Planning and Zoning Commission for eighteen years, four as chairperson.
He and his partner, Cathy, live in Urbandale, IA, and have two adult children and two grandchildren. He is an avid golfer and reader and enjoys following Iowa State University athletics, the Chicago Cubs and the Green Bay Packers.

Brad Sporrer

Clive President — Chief Lending Officer
Brad Sporrer is the Chief Lending Officer for Iowa Trust and President of the Clive market location. He has held this role with the bank since he was hired in 2016.
As the market president, Mr. Sporrer manages items related to facilities, business development, lending and deposit processes, procedures and staffing. As a member of the executive management team of the bank, he provides valuable input related to marketing, human resources, operations and bank-wide initiatives.
Mr. Sporrer holds a bachelor's degree in political science with a business administration minor from Creighton University. Additionally, he has completed the majority of course requirements for his MBA from the University of Nebraska-Omaha. Mr. Sporrer has continued his banking education through the American Bankers Association Consumer Lending School, Kansas/Nebraska Bankers Association Commercial Lending School and the University of Wisconsin-Madison Graduate School of Banking.
Outside of work, Mr. Sporrer enjoys staying active by bicycling on the trails in the Des Moines area and riding with a local bike team, walking his dog and other physical exercise.
